  Hi,
  
  With the JobMaker Hiring Credit being fairly substantial, is there a risk in hiring someone after budget night (6/10/20) but before it is legislated?
  
  Is anyone aware of information which might provide comfort to an employer in this situation? It would seem a perverse outcome if this proposal made employers reluctant to take on new employees (until legislated).

  Turns out there would have been no problem hiring before the legislation passed, which we now know with hindsight 🙂
